Somatic Experiencing can help…

Somatic Experiencing (SE)® is a body-oriented therapy that is based in the belief that our bodies hold our traumatic experiences, and that the body’s memory of the trauma is just as, if not more, important than the mind’s memory. SE® looks at how those experiences show up in our nervous systems and how that impacts our lives.

By fostering an awareness of and creating the space for bodily experiences and sensations to arise, SE® helps guide individuals to complete the experience that is stuck in the nervous system (without being overwhelmed) to move toward healing and wholeness.
